Abstract
Proposal by an unidentified author addressed to Emperor Napoleon I, offering to translate accounts of the trial of Galileo into French. Includes preliminary efforts at a translation, with an article captioned 'Contre Galileo Galilei' (pages [7]-[16]) and transcriptions of two letters, including one from Galileo to the mathemetician Benedetto Castelli.
